Tips and predictions round up – Easter weekend, April 2018

Easter weekend winning spree will live long in the memory

It’s not often we’re lost for words and there were so many winners over the course of the Easter weekend we’ve got plenty to shout about again. From Friday night to Monday afternoon there was a feast of big price football winners with our tipsters recording profits in every major league across Europe.

If you chose to stay at home over the four-day weekend and bet on the fixtures you would’ve been raking in the cash if following our betting tips and predictions. The weekend’s round of tipping was so successful in fact we almost couldn’t believe it ourselves.

Plenty of matches taking place across the UK and beyond we made hay while the sun shone, landing more than 15 correct scores with plenty more winning selections in the match markets. Yes – over 15 correct score bets all at big prices, the smallest we were able to find coming home at 5/1, the biggest weighed in at 14/1.

We hope you found a share of the joy, read on for a few of our favourites…..

No matter how well we perform across Europe – winners were given in lower league English football matches as well as Portuguese, Scottish, German, Spanish and Italian – the majority of casual punters will judge us on performances in the Premier League. It’s not the best division of football to bet on as traders often have the value on lockdown but we had a Saturday worth shouting about, giving four correct scores from eight matches. That’s simply stunning and we challenge the competition to even go close to matching that effort.

How we took apart the bookies in the Premier League!

Those four big price winners were made up of Man Utd to beat Swansea City 2-0 at Old Trafford. That bet was achieved thanks to goals from Lukaku and Sanchez, both on target inside 20 minutes. Perez scored late to give us a 1-0 for Newcastle vs Huddersfield at 5/1 and there was bigger if following us in on Burnley 2-1 at 21/2, the same price enjoyed on Man City 3-1 at Goodison Park.
There were so many cheers this weekend we’re forced to keep it short to cover the best of them. Carlisle won 1-0 on Friday at 19/2, Millwall kick-started an important weekend with a 2-0 at 8/1. In Scotland champions in-waiting Celtic did as expected when easing to a 3-0 at 13/2 and in the Championship Falkirk matched that tally at 15/2. On an action-packed bank holiday Monday betting 1-0 Derby would’ve lined your pocket to the tune of 8/1, Luton coming from behind to nick a 2-1 at 15/2.

The biggest of them all came from the French Ligue 1 where Strasbourg played out a four-goal draw at a jaw-dropping 14/1. On Easter Sunday Le Racing enjoyed home advantage over Metz and although fans were disappointed with a level finish, we saw it coming, smiling from ear-to-ear as the full-time scores rolled in.

In a stunning match as well as the four goals we saw two red cards, Ndour sent off on 64 minutes before Selimovic was sent packing for a second bookable offence to level the numbers up. Bahoken and Seka were on target for Strasbourg, Riviere and Mollet ensuring a share of the spoils. Our French football expert put you in the picture long before the teams lined-up, telling readers recent meetings of the rivals had produced plenty of goals. We thought this renewal would fall into line and it did just that.
