It’s nearly that time of year again! Qualifying for Wimbledon is underway and the publication of the order of play is expected on Sunday 26th June. Can Andy Murray win Wimbledon?

The local crowd sitting on Henman Hill / Murray Mountain are sure to be rooting for everyone’s favourite Scottish sports personality, Andy Murray, to reach the final and hopefully prevail.

The bookies seem to think he has a decent chance. He’s currently second favourite with most bookies placing him at odds of around 3/1. This is a similar price to last year when he was beaten at the semi final stage by an inspired Roger Federer. The superb Swiss isn’t getting any younger though, and perhaps this is best reflected in his outright Wimbledon price of 12/1. This might well make for a decent each way bet though, he generally saves his best for the green grass of Wimbledon.
