Grand National 2016 preview

We’ve got one of our experts busy compiling a guide to the Grand National, and it’ll be here very soon. We’ll be looking at which of the favourites is most likely to stay the course, picking out a couple of medium priced hopefuls and of course looking for that elusive long shot that might just be a contender.

The Grand National is a race with a history of long odds winners, as recently as 6 years ago the race was won by an enormous 100/1 outsider! The last three races have also seen bookie-bashing winners at 33/1, 66/1 and 25/1. Will it happen again this year? We don’t see why not, and hopefully we’ll help you pick it out!

Check back shortly for our guide, hints and tips.

Grand National 2016 enhanced multiples

The Grand National is of course the main event, but remember that there’s plenty of other top racing action on in the Aintree Festival 2016, mostly in the lead up to the big race. The festival is three days of top racing action, leading up to the Grand National itself on the third day, Saturday 9th April.

If you’re planning to watch all the other big races, you might be interested in one of the bookies favourite offers, the enhanced multiple. Always popular with the punters, the enhanced multiple can offer some truly staggering returns across just a few races. Combining just a few of the big priced mounts can see a winning slip well into the hundreds from just a few quid bet!

As soon as we have the enhanced multiples you’ll find them on this page along with the any other bookie specials in the build up to the Aintree festival. From Thursday 7th April there will be regular updates here and on our homepage. If you’ve not got time to keep checking here then remember the best way to make sure you don’t miss out is to join our mailing list, enter your email address in the box above and we’ll send you all the latest enhanced odds and bookie specials straight to your inbox.

Grand National 2016 runners list

Below you will find the list of runners for the Grand National 2016. They are sorted in order from favourite at the top, down to the rank outsiders at the bottom. As you can see from the list, there are 3 horses towards the top of the list that are fairly close calls. Beyond those 3 we’re into the teens and above, so a winner from this section of the runners will bring a tasty payout. As we said above, the National is notoriously difficult to pick a winner from, so good luck wading through this little lot!
