Cheltenham Open 2015

Friday 13th of November 2015 marks the day that the new grandstand at Cheltenham will be officially opened to the public. The new stand will bear the name Princess Royal, and she will be in attendance herself on Friday to cut the ribbon. All of which will be a precursor to 3 days of solid racing over the jumps, with a huge crowd expected to witness a deluge of top class action.

Friday sees a number of fun activities and charity events, the highlight of which has to be Tony McCoy performing dressage in the paddock! All for a good cause of course, but this will be well worth a watch.

As ever, this meet is a big one early on in the new jump season, and will give an idea of form heading into the busy winter schedule. As before, there’s a top class field of both horses and jockeys competing for the huge prize fund, some decent action looks guaranteed.

We’ve got some cracking offers for the racing, with further to be added as the weekend progresses, so keep checking back.

Cheltenham Open feature race

The main event of the weekend is undoubtedly the 14:25 on Saturday, the Paddy Power Gold Cup. As you can see above, we’ve already secured a fantastic price for the current favourite, and we’ll be adding more odds and offers as they come in. There are a number of specials available where a horse finishing second or third will get you your stake back, but perhaps the best of them all is the first race special, where you get your money back if your horse fails to win! Can’t say fairer than that.
